Steven’s impact extends across the startup landscape, having directly funded over 150 startups, including notable names like Ample, IonQ, Genies, FigureAI, Immuta, Gradiant, Verge Genomics, and Skyroot.
Steven’s career began in building proprietary trading desks at renowned financial institutions such as Spear Leeds and Kellogg, UBS, Montgomery Securities, Commerzbank, and the Bank of Montreal. At BMO he managed over 10B in AUM.  His early experiences provided a solid foundation for his transition into venture capital, where his insights and investments continue to shape the future of innovation.

Igor Tulchinsky

Founder, WorldQuant Ventures LLC

Mr. Tulchinsky is a financial entrepreneur with 23 years of Wall Street trading experience. He is the Founder and CEO of WorldQuant, LLC, which he established in 2007 following 12 years as a statistical arbitrage portfolio manager at Millennium Management LLC.

Prior to forming WorldQuant, Mr. Tulchinsky was a venture capitalist, scientist at AT&T Bell Laboratories, video game programmer and an author. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School.

Jeffrey Blomberg

Manager, WorldQuant Ventures LLC

Mr. Blomberg is WorldQuant’s Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel with responsibility for its global Legal, Human Resources, Facilities and Data Procurement functions.  Prior to joining WorldQuant, Mr. Blomberg was a partner in the law firm of Withers Bergman LLP from 2008-2014 where he served as WorldQuant’s outside general counsel.

Prior to joining Withers, Mr. Blomberg had been a partner at Pullman & Comley, LLC since 2005.  Mr. Blomberg began his career in 1996 working in New York at Battle Fowler LLP (now Paul Hastings) and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.  He then moved his practice in 1999 to Connecticut to the firm of Finn Dixon & Herling LLP where he practiced for five years before joining Martin, Lucas & Chioffi LLP as a partner in 2004. 

Mr. Blomberg graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Colgate University in 1993 and received his JD from Fordham University School of Law in 1996 where he was an Associate Editor of the Law Review.
